Some skills have more than one prerequisite for instance, Amazon's Valkyrie skill requires you to have at least one point in six separate lower-level skills before you can unlock and use it. For example, a Sorceress must have one point in Fire Bolt before moving on to Fire Ball at level 12. Some skills require you to allocate one or more points to an earlier skill before it becomes available.
